Internet down, or just one website or app not working? Run the quick check, then try the steps below before you call.
The check tests whether your browser can reach a few well-known websites. Security software or ad blockers can occasionally cause a “No response.”
Try these first
- Check the power. If the lights are out or your modem has no lights, check the PG&E Outage Center.
- Restart your modem and router. Unplug both, wait 30 seconds, plug the modem back in first and wait until its lights settle (2–5 minutes), then plug in the router.
- Try another device. If your phone works on Wi‑Fi but the computer doesn’t, the problem is probably the computer.
- Move closer to the router, or connect with a network cable if you have one.
- Check for an outage using the links below. If there’s a known outage, there’s nothing to fix — it’s a matter of waiting.
- Still down? Call your internet provider (have your account number ready). If they say your connection is fine, call PSA at (707) 506-6802.
